Kid-proof indoor science day

Two floors of things to push, pull, and climb — none of them outside.
The summer survival plan for anyone under ten. Arizona Science Center is the big one: three floors of hands-on exhibits plus a planetarium, and enough space that nobody melts down before lunch. If there is anything left in the tank, the Children's Museum is a six-minute walk away and aimed slightly younger — it is essentially a giant indoor playground with a climbing structure at the middle.
