Three and a half acres of koi and quiet, ten blocks from downtown.
Ro Ho En is easy to miss and completely disarming once you are inside — a tea garden, a stocked koi pond, and a waterfall doing a very good job of hiding the fact that you are two blocks off I-10. Go near opening, buy a bag of fish food, and give it forty minutes. It is the cheapest reset in the city.
