Start indoors at SMoCA, which is small enough to see properly in an hour and consistently better than a town this polished has any right to expect. Then walk out into Old Town as the temperature finally breaks — the galleries on Main Street stay open late on Thursdays for the ArtWalk, and the whole district is flat, lit, and made for wandering.
