Superstition ghost town half-day

Half day Short drive ~270 min Curated
Superstition ghost town half-day

A staged Old West town, then the real desert that swallowed prospectors.

Goldfield is unapologetically touristy — a reconstructed 1890s mining town with a narrow-gauge railroad and a zipline — and it is genuinely fun for an hour. The reason to come out here, though, is next door: Lost Dutchman State Park, where the Superstition Mountains rise straight out of the flats. Walk the Treasure Loop for the classic view.
